Conger Park

Saturday, October 24, Amanda, Me, Vangie, Harlee Kate, Jax and Ronin went to Conger Park in Hernando to play for the afternoon. What beautiful weather we had. It was fun catching up with my girls. And of course, a blast on all of the slides. We must do this again!

The Pumpkin Patch

Sunday, October 18, Brandon and I took Harlee Kate to the Pumpkin patch at Cedar Hill Farm. She had an amazing time with us and her friends Gage and Jada. I was so excited that her Daddy was able to come along. He stays so busy we don't get to do many activities together. She was scared to death to ride the pony, but she loved the petting zoo, the swing and slide, the chicken show, and the train ride. This age is so much fun. It is so sweet to see the amazement in a childs eyes of things unseen.

Guitar Lessons

Harlee Kate loves music. Is it any wonder!! I caught some photos of her and her BoDaddy practicing strumming.

What is Harlee Kate doing now: jabbering like crazy, you can't make out most of it but we r making progress...some of her new words are .. airplane, cold, hot, what's that, more, nose, eye, baby, diaper, pot pot (potty). She has started to sit on her potty but hasn't used it yet. Her favorite things to do are turning off light switches, writing, ring-around-the-roses, and running around naked. She hates to wear a diaper. She still hangs on to her lovey Raff. Health wise, she is allowed to eat egg products now and her excema has improved a lot. She has 10 teeth now but is still a very picky eater. We should buy stock in Gerber Graduate Ceral bars.

My Birthday Celebration

As most of you know, I like to celebrate each birthday more than once. So to kick things off the weekend before my birthday Brandon rented a limo and a few of my friends went and had a lovely dinner at The Misquite Chop House in Southaven. Afterwards, we went to the casinos for a little more entertainment. It was a great time. Thanks baby for my surprise.
The following weekend, me and the girls from work went to Fort Morgan for a relaxing weekend on the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better 29th birthday. How will we ever top that for #30.

ZOO FUN

We took Harlee Kate to the Memphis Zoo Friday, June 5th. it was her 3rd time to visit but the first with her daddy. We all had a great time even though it was so crowded. She got to ride the carosel for the first time. It was a great fun family day.
Harlee Kate is growing so fast she weighs about 23 lbs now. Her vocabulary includes :
Mama
Dog
Dada
RoRo
Jax
Light
Ball
She has been in the Methodist Church daycare now for about 6 weeks. She is still adjusting to new foods and napping schedule. I hope she will continue to improve. She will have surgery on June 15 to have her adnoids removed and tubes placed. Please keep her in your prayers.

Florida Vacation

Brandon and I and Brian and Landon Wallis went to Okaloosa Island for vacation this year. We stayed at the Waterscape Resort and it was fabulous. We will definitely stay there next year with the kids. We were in walking distance to 6 restaurants and only a few miles from shopping in SanDestin. We ate way too much but had a wonderful time. No sharks this year but lots of seaweed. All together the weather was good except for the last day it rained all day.

Easter

Harlee Kate had a wonderful Easter. The Easter Bunny brought her a baby doll, big ball, crayons and coloring book and 2 Wiggles movies. She was so excited to find her gifts. We went to Aunt Carolyn's house Saturday before Easter for our annual egg hunt. She did so great pointing out all of the eggs. Here are some of our great moments.
